Claire and Jamie’s stunning floral arrangements were created by Blooming Bees, a flower farm near Forfar, just 12 miles from Kinclune. Founded by Kelly, Blooming Bees specialises in seasonal, farm-grown flowers cultivated in Angus and arranged for weddings across Scotland.

Golden sunflowers, garden roses, dahlias, cosmos and seasonal foliage combined to create a colourful, romantic and celebratory display. The palette of blush pinks, peaches, creams, burgundy and golden yellow brought warmth and vibrancy to the day while sitting beautifully against the red sandstone walls of the steading courtyard.

Rather than constructing a new-build venue, we have carefully restored and repurposed existing buildings, giving them a new lease of life while retaining their heritage character and charm. In doing so, we have preserved the craftsmanship, history and embodied carbon already invested in these structures.
We have also invested significantly in improving energy efficiency across the estate through measures including insulation, modern double glazing, smart heating controls and wider energy-saving improvements. Our wedding venue and cottages are heated by a renewable biomass heating system, reducing reliance on fossil fuels, while two EV chargers support more sustainable travel for guests.
Combined with ongoing habitat creation, woodland management and conservation projects, these improvements help ensure the estate continues to thrive environmentally, socially and economically for future generations.
