Curlew Cottage – A beautiful apartment, every detail first class. The peace & quiet worth so much in this busy world. Adored the huge picture windows, it felt as though I was outside all the time. My miniature dachshund spent a huge amount of time keeping track of all the birds, it’s not often he can see out so easily!! The shower was the most powerful one I’ve ever had!!

Kinclune House & Estate will forever hold a special place in our hearts. The venue is absolutely stunning, and we truly could not have chosen a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding. Aylwin and her team are the most accommodating, thoughtful and genuinely lovely people. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The accommodation was beautiful, immaculate in every detail and the estate itself is magical. We cannot recommend Kinclune House Estate highly enough.

Our extended family of 26 spent a week at Kinclune during the middle of February and had a marvellous time. Waking up to fresh snow and seeing Kinclune transformed into a winter wonderland was a magical experience for the whole family. Kinclune House was comfortable, the views beautiful and the owners friendly, helpful and welcoming. About 45 minutes away the Glenshee Ski Resort had deep snow and spectacular scenery. Highly recommended for large family groups.

Curlew Cottage – We had a wonderful 4-night stay at the cottage. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. The space was cozy, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing—exactly what we needed. We truly loved our time here and would happily return.

Kinclune House – Hard to explain how amazing this place is. Aylwin and her family where super thoughtful on how they organized the estate for Christmas and NYE. With the views and the warmth of the house you don’t need much more! It was an amazing experience! Thank you so much!

Grieve’s cottage is one of the most relaxing and welcoming places we’ve ever stayed. Set in a magnificent 800 acre pony stud and cattle farm, the views are breathtaking. We found pure peace and tranquility and were able to drive to some lovely nearby towns. This was an unforgettable experience, generously curated by Aylwin in a beautiful cottage with large bedrooms and everything you need and more. We were enchanted and can’t wait to return!

We had our wedding at Kinclune and couldn’t recommend the venue enough. We wanted somewhere secluded, special and big enough for the 15 or so guests we had. Kinclune fit the bill perfectly. Our guests were really blown away that the place was all ours. Aylwin and the team were amazing … in constant communication, matched us to vendors that could cater, events and more. It made our wedding planning easy and on the day we had zero concerns or stress. The perfect wedding that we’re still thinking about.

Grieve’s Farmhouse – We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse. It was perfect for our family, lots of toys for our 18 month old son, cosy and comfortable. Beautiful views, especially at sunrise. It was lovely to meet the Highland ponies too.

Kinclune House – What a wonderful weekend and family get together – could not have been more perfect. Stunning sunrises and sunsets, and beautiful weather. All felt totally at home and plenty of celebrations!

Thank you for beautiful Kinclune House for our family stay. Returning to Scotland and staying here in the sunshine … has been relaxing, enchanting. Walks in the hills, the children playing round the house and garden, lunches in the garden, the fireside at night. This could not have been better.

Kinclune House – Stayed for my 30th birthday celebration for the weekend with a group of friends and family. The house was beautiful and the surrounding grounds were stunning. We all had a great stay and hopefully can return again next year.

Curlew Cottage – I had a fantastic stay! The cottage was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and in a great location. The check-in process was smooth and communication with the host was easy and prompt. The bed was super comfortable. It was the perfect base for exploring highlands, and I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this listing for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free Airbnb experience!

Kinclune House – The house is incredible and everything we needed for a fabulous family stay was included. The bathrooms are beautiful, the beds are super comfortable and the linen is beautifully clean. We did lots of walks and ate lunches in the garden on sunny days. The views over the valley are lovely and there is a sense of peace and quiet … The house is pet friendly but you would not know that pets had stayed there. Everything was clean and well presented. I would love to come back again and highly recommend a stay here.

We had the most amazing wedding at Kinclune and could not recommend it highly enough! The accommodation, venue and setting are all stunning! We received so many compliments from our family and friends who thought it was just fantastic! Everything has been beautifully restored and the interiors are gorgeous, combined with the stunning views and the company of our family and friends – we didn’t want to leave! We had the house and other accommodation from Friday – Monday which was just the best thing as we got to celebrate with our family and friends all weekend!

Grieve’s Farmhouse – We had a wonderful holiday staying in this beautiful house. Gorgeous views, really comfortable bed, soooo quiet, and we loved having the enclosed garden for our dog. I would highly recommend Kinclune Estate!

Grieve’s Farmhouse – Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The location, grounds, and scenery were nothing short of magical. We truly felt like we were in a fairytale. A special shout out to Lorenzo, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home – especially for our toddler and 8-month old who loved meeting the horses and playing with puzzles and toys. Would love to come back for another visit.

Kinclune House – Staying in this home was like a fairytale! … There are Highland ponies on the grounds just by the house, and the girls spent hours everyday brushing and braiding the pony’s mane! We went on many nature walks, and what a wonderful spot for birdwatching! The rooms were so nicely designed and upholstered, we loved the vintage furniture pieces and the books in the library … From the moment we arrived, we knew we were coming back to this house!

Kinclune House provided the perfect location for our family gathering. The house was perfectly suited to our 3-generation group – social large kitchen, two great reception rooms – allowing adults and kids to live their lives!! We also had the annex which provided another quiet area to add to the facilities of the house … The house is also well situated for outdoor activity – we could visit Cairngorms tourist attractions and the Angus Glens with ease from here.

Grieve’s Farmhouse – We immediately felt at home and able to relax. This home is spacious, with stylish furniture and a perfectly positioned dining table with views of the ponies and hills beyond, in the bay window. The beds are extremely comfortable, we all slept well, very quiet with glorious views from all windows. Beautiful rural surroundings, animals and wildlife, great for walking our beagle, who also thoroughly enjoyed his stay too.

Kinclune House – A beautiful home suitable for a large family with all the comforts. Our stay was wonderful and everything was extremely functional and suitable. I can only recommend this exceptional, magnificent home with an incredible view. From the house, many possibilities for visiting castles and sites. Many pets and wild animals to admire. Ideal for staying with family or friends, each with their own bedroom and bathroom with large friendly common areas.

Kinclune House is heaven on earth! We felt at home from the first moment. The house is just perfect … High quality furnishings  and everything is lovingly designed. The tranquility and beauty of the surroundings is breathtaking. The hosts manage their property professionally, and you feel warmly welcome as a guest. We recommend this house 100%!

Curlew Cottage – This is a newly renovated property in a small courtyard on a secluded working estate in the countryside. The picture windows gave magical views onto a small copse with hares. We were able to walk round the estate to appreciate the beautiful surroundings and wildlife. Location gave good access to the Angus Glens so great walking locally.

Thank you so much for allowing us to share our wedding day at your beautiful new steading. It has created everlasting memories for us and our family. We could not have picked a more special place for us both. You have done a wonderful job of creating the perfect wedding venue and Kinclune House is absolutely magical – we didn’t want to go home. 

Curlew Cottage was perfect. The bedrooms were really comfortable and everywhere it was immaculate and everything you could think of was there. We loved waking up and looking out at the trees and our friends in Kestrel Cottage enjoyed getting to know such a gorgeous foal across the fence. Everyone enjoyed the stay. We were there for a book launch which took place in the steading and that was really beautiful.

We shared the most wonderful weekend at Kinclune for our ‘Your Wild Nature’ weekend Summer retreat. The expansive views, birdwatching (Ospreys, Buzzard, Red Kite and Curlews!) and peaceful surroundings offered peace, quiet and a much needed nervous system reset for us all … We shared breakfasts and dinners around the large kitchen table with horses frolicking past at the windows – it was just glorious!! Every room is carefully thought out, beautifully designed and light, spacious and luxurious.

We had the most amazing wedding experience with Kinclune House as our home base, it was everything we wanted and more! We stayed for 5 days, which gave us time to relax, connect, enjoy the stunning surroundings and prepare for our wedding day. The house is absolutely beautiful, full of character and amazing views. Kinclune House will forever hold a special place in our hearts. If you’re planning a wedding or special gathering, and want somewhere warm, elegant, and hosted with genuine care, this is the right place!

What a fabulous choice to have our daughter’s wedding at Kinclune. Absolutely fantastic setting and facilities. It was lovely having the 3 night stay. It made the whole experience relaxing and extended the whole wedding experience. Kinclune House and the on-site accommodation are 5 star. The ‘party barn’ looked stunning set for dinner. The catering partners did a fantastic job and the food was outstanding. The whole experience was better than we even imagined it would be.

Best place to stay, amazing views and also would definitely recommend if having a wedding! Lovely venue, lovely rooms, great nature. New wedding venue, just had my wedding there and was amazing!

Kinclune House – What a fantastic place to stay Kinclune is. Not only did we have a superbly comfortable and spacious house to enjoy with plenty of spaces for our party of 13, the views from the front of the house (and all the bedrooms) are superb – we even had the joy of seeing the local Ospreys flying above the front of the house, a magical experience. A superb fortnight where even the weather was on our side!

What a wonderful place to spend New Year with the family. The house is stunning and the location so magical. We have made some very special memories.

11 friends stayed at Kinclune House for 3 nights as a wee festive get together. The house was amazing and is in the most beautiful peaceful surroundings. The house was well equipped and there was everything we needed for our stay! The house is huge and there was more than enough space for all of us with lots of different rooms to chill in and lots of board games to choose from! Aylwin was always very responsive to any questions we had and we are hoping to return again next year.

We stayed in the house for a family gathering. It was a perfect place to get together and the house is amazing. The views in the morning are stunning.

Wow where to start! We stayed at Kinclune Estate for our intimate wedding, and it was truly something spectacular! The house is stunning, with gorgeous grounds and views that take your breath away every morning. Watching the sunset from their vantage point on the hill was a highlight for all of us! Aylwin, the owner, was incredibly helpful and we are so grateful to have had our wedding in such a magical place.

We stayed for 2 nights and slept the best we have slept in years. We loved every second of this place. From the long driveway to the house to every detail that was put into making this place a picturesque setting, we couldn’t have been more pleased. There is PLENTY of space to spread out and everything you need to cook, entertain, relax. The sheep, cows, squirrels kept us focused in the morning while we enjoyed our coffee and snacks that were left for us. I wish we could have stayed for a month!

Stayed here for a long weekend with my nearest and dearest to celebrate my 30th birthday. This venue is absolutely gorgeous and Aylwin was incredibly accommodating and helpful. My friends and I are already discussing a return visit! Stunning location, spacious rooms and beautifully furnished. Couldn’t recommend Kinclune Estate enough.

What a beautiful house in a spectacular location! Overlooking acres of countryside, the house has everything you could possibly need for an extended family holiday. Furnished to the highest standards, the house is warm, comfortable and inviting. Super comfy beds, lovely open fires, large and splendid rooms for the family to gather together, a superb and well equipped family kitchen and access to two extra annexe bedrooms for the larger family group. They are also dog friendly which is just wonderful!

Beautiful house and a stunning location. We had a wonderful week. The house is modern and very spacious. Spectacular views all astound. The facilities are top notch and the communication from Aylwin was excellent and very helpful. I strongly recommend.

Kinclune Estate is set in the beautiful countryside of Angus and the family have done an amazing job of converting their home into a fabulous getaway for large groups. The wedding venue is going to be amazing, can’t wait to see it when it is finished.

We enjoyed a long weekend at Kinclune House with extended family. The house is very well appointed and equipped. We had a warm welcome and Aylwin was very helpful and responsive. The house is set in beautiful countryside and the views are outstanding. A lovely peaceful location in which to spend time with family. The house had everything we needed and we would definitely consider coming back again.

What a wonderful experience from start to finish. Aylwin was an amazing host and the property was definitely an experience I will not forget! It is equipped with everything you would want to make your stay an enjoyable one. The views from the window after waking up were among my best moments at Kinclune House. I wish we could have stayed a few more days, but hopefully we will return again in the future.

Family reunion with ages 4 to 77. Terrific venue. Weather was grey, but the house made up for it. Very welcoming and a beautiful estate. Lots of laughter and memories made. Osprey fighting the crows each morning and squirrels in the trees. Good lunch at Peel Farm. Kids loved feeding the lambs.

We had a wonderful gathering in this beautifully furnished & decorated house – a tasteful blend of old & modern. Luxurious bedrooms & bathrooms, with beds so comfortable we didn’t want to get up. We loved the red squirrels, the red kite & the panoramic views. Thank you, Aylwin & family, for a memorable holiday.

I visited Kinclune Estate and Kinclune House. I had an amazing experience, I am in awe of Kinclune House and hope to be back to stay with my family. The view is something to behold and I appreciate the organic farm championing their wildlife. I cannot recommend Kinclune enough.

We stayed at Kinclune House recently for a family gathering. It is exceptionally well-appointed, in a gorgeous setting. The views are really phenomenal. Our children loved making friends with the Shetland ponies and exploring the house and grounds. The photos really don’t do it justice and I’d not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

A truly fantastic short break. What a great setting to come and unwind from our troubles. Kinclune House was just what we needed. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy everything about it. The fire in the drawing room was perfect to end the night on.
