The beautiful A-listed Balintore Castle can be seen from Kinclune, but the area is rich in history from standing stones and rugged ruins to Royal castles and grand estates.
- Glamis (10 miles) – The outstanding history and spectacle of Glamis Castle, the ancestral home of the late H.M. Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, is open to the public from March to December.
- Balmoral Castle (44 miles) – Take a day trip to visit the famous Scottish home of the Royal Family so loved by the late Queen Elizabeth II and His Majesty King Charles III. The grounds, gardens and exhibitions are open April to August with tickets bookable online.
