Rebecca and Charlie’s March wedding was the perfect blend of warmth, atmosphere and heartfelt celebration. After a beautiful ceremony in Rebecca’s local church — just moments from her childhood home — the couple and their guests made their way to Kinclune House & Estate, an exclusive‑use wedding venue in Scotland, for a relaxed, joy‑filled wedding weekend in what they later described as “our own private oasis” in the Angus countryside.

On arrival at Kinclune, guests were greeted with the estate’s signature warmth. Even on a March afternoon, the atmosphere felt cosy and inviting — the kind of spring wedding in Scotland that feels intimate and welcoming. With on‑site accommodation for up to 28 guests, the estate quickly became a relaxed home‑from‑home for the couple’s closest friends and family.
Inside The Arches, the celebrations began in earnest. A Full, Lively Celebration for 120 Guests
With 120 guests filling Kinclune Steading, the venue spaces felt vibrant and sociable — a true celebration. Guests flowed between The Arches, The Granary and The Courtyard, enjoying the freedom of the estate and the sense of having the whole place to themselves. This is the heart of Kinclune’s exclusive‑use wedding venue experience: space to breathe, celebrate and connect.
As evening fell, The Courtyard transformed into a glowing, atmospheric space with sparklers and firepits, creating warmth against the early‑spring dusk. These moments — guests gathered around the flames, sparklers lighting up the night, Oscar the dog weaving happily between groups — capture the spirit of the day.
They added a playful, very Scottish touch to the celebration with a wedding cake made from tiers of Fisher & Donaldson’s iconic fudge doughnuts — a guaranteed crowd‑pleaser.
Rebecca described the estate as “magical” and the setting as “an extraordinary place” to celebrate such a special moment in their lives.
A Dog‑Friendly Wedding Weekend
Oscar, their beloved dog, was very much part of the celebration. He spent the weekend exploring the courtyard, collecting cuddles and joining in the fun — a perfect example of Kinclune’s dog‑friendly wedding venue approach.

The following morning brought a slower, more relaxed pace — no rushing, no early checkout, just time to reconnect with loved ones and enjoy the estate at a gentler rhythm. The couple hosted a laid‑back gathering in The Arches, a lovely part of Kinclune’s multi‑day wedding experience.
Rebecca shared that the accommodation was “beautiful, immaculate in every detail”, and that the estate felt like “our own private oasis” throughout their stay.

After their wedding weekend, Rebecca and Charlie headed north in their campervan — Oscar included — for a honeymoon exploring the Scottish Highlands. We wish them a wonderful life together and hope their adventures bring them back to Kinclune in the future.
